Wigan Athletic midfielder Denny Landzaat is set to leave the JJB Stadium and sign for Feyenoord.
The 31-year-old former Netherlands international has travelled back to his homeland for a medical before putting the finishing touches to a £1million move.
Landzaat joined the Latics in summer 2006 in a £2.3million deal from AZ Alkmaar and went on to start 48 Premier League games for the club.
Speaking earlier this month, manager Steve Bruce claimed he wanted to keep the experienced midfielder, saying: "At the moment, I don't really want to lose anyone. I'm looking to build a squad rather than let players go.
"Denny has done extremely well since I took this job and I'd be reluctant to lose him."
However, Bruce's capture of Wilson Palacios has seen Landzaat drop further down the pecking order.
Meanwhile, Wigan are reportedly in the hunt to sign Watford's £5million-rated striker Marlon King after his expected move to Fulham stalled last week.
