Kilbane nears Wigan switch

Everton winger Kevin Kilbane is on the verge of securing a move to Premiership rivals Wigan Athletic.
The 29-year-old was linked with a £750,000 switch to Fulham earlier in the week, but it now appears that the JJB Stadium will be his destination.
Kilbane has left the Republic of Ireland's training camp for Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Germany and flown back to England to finalise the transfer.
He was accompanied on the trip by Wigan midfielder Graham Kavanagh, who is set to leave the Latics to join Roy Keane's Sunderland.
