Hunt back in Wanderers fold

Bolton Wanderers have recalled defender Nicky Hunt from his loan spell at Birmingham City.

The right-back had made 11 appearances while on loan with the Championship club since the beginning of November.

But with Gretar Steinsson suspended for the Trotters' next Premier League match - the January 10 trip to Arsenal - manager Gary Megson has decided to bring the 25-year-old back into the fold.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi has committed his future to the Reebok Stadium club until 2013.

The Oman international has been with Wanderers for three years and enjoyed a rare run in the first team last season when regular number one Jussi Jaaskelainen was injured.

The 27-year-old keeper made 16 appearances for Megson's side last term.
