FA investigates Kirkland incident

The Football Association has launched an investigation after Wigan goalkeeper Chris Kirkland was struck by an object during Saturday's game against Burnley.Kirkland was hit by a missile, believed to be a coin, thrown from the away section at the DW Stadium. Anyone found guilty faces a ban from all matches in England but the FA will speak to referee Mike Jones before taking any further action.
