Cywka handed Latics debut

Wigan Athletic boss Paul Jewell is set to hand a senior Latics debut to teenage midfielder Tomasz Cywka in the Carling Cup third round clash with Crewe.
The 18-year-old Poland Under-21 international moved to the JJB Stadium in the summer and Jewell feels Cywka is ready for first-team action.
He told the club's official website: "From the moment I saw Tomasz play, I thought he had potential and he has been making good progress throughout the summer.
"It'll be interesting to see how he gets on in his first fully competitive match in England.
"I never like to put too much pressure on young players by saying they can achieve this or that because that's not fair on them and the step up into the senior game can be daunting.
"But so far, touch wood, Tomasz seems to have made that step up in training very well and is very confident."
