Bramble going nowhere

Wigan defender Titus Bramble wants to stay at the DW Stadium for the rest of his career. The centre-back was linked with Aston Villa this summer following an impressive campaign last season. However, Bramble shunned possible moves away from the Latics and signed a new contract earlier in July. The 27-year-old is now planning a long stay with Wigan, saying: "I want to spend the rest of my career here. "I wanted to get the contract sorted out at the end of last season so I could have gone away and forgotten about it but I was only back a week and everything was completed so I am happy."
