Boyce hails Martinez impact
Wigan defender Emmerson Boyce believes Roberto Martinez has brought "flair" to the club. The Spaniard left Swansea to succeed Steve Bruce in the Wigan hotseat in the summer and has enjoyed a decent start to his reign. Saturday's win away to Burnley was the Latics' fourth in the Barclays Premier League this term and Boyce believes they are also becoming a more cultured side. He told the Wigan Evening Post: "It was always going to take time when you have a new manager and new players, but we feel we're getting there and we fully understand what he wants from us. "In the last couple of seasons, we've been known as more of a physical and hard-working team, but the manager has brought in some flair players and we're passing the ball around really well."
