Boselli departs on cut price deal
Mauro Boselli has unsurprisingly left the Latics as his transfer to Club Leon in Mexico has been confirmed.
The 29 year old struggled to adapt to life with the Latics and new manager Owen Coyle has decided to offload to striker.
Boselli originally cost the club a fee in the region of £5.5 million when he joined from Estudiantes and it is thought his outbound fee is in the region of £1 million with the possibility to rise dependent upon his success in Mexico.
The club have not released the fee to the press but the loss on Boselli represents one of the biggest negatives of Martinez's reign at the club, second only to relegation.
The move does free up space on the wage bill for further additions to be made by new manager Owen Coyle.
