Teale setback concerns Jewell

Wigan Athletic boss Paul Jewell has revealed that both Matt Jackson and Gary Teale are injury concerns as he prepares for the weekend game with rock-bottom Wimbledon.

Jewell is keen to secure three points from the match as he looks to lift the Latics back into the play-off zone.

"Matt Jackson's achilles is a bit better but we've sent him for a scan to see the extent of the damage," Jewell told the club's official website.

"We've also had a bit of a scare with Gary Teale as he's felt his collarbone a bit and had to stop training, so we'll probably send him to see the specialist just to get it checked out."
