Wigan Athletic have handed professional contracts to a host of players who have progressed through the ranks at the JJB Stadium.
Luke Ashworth, Lewis Field, Matty Hampson, Joe Holt, Craig Mahon, Andrew Pearson and Jon Routledge have all signed their first deals with the Latics after graduating from the club's academy.
The seven players include 6ft 3inch centre-back Ashworth, who was voted youth team player of the year, plus Republic of Ireland Under-19 striker Mahon.
"They all now have a chance to prove themselves," manager Steve Bruce told club's official website.
"We feel they have the potential to develop into Wigan Athletic players of the future, but now it's up to them to show me and the rest of the staff here that they have what it takes."
