Worst time to face Liverpool warns Martinez

Latics boss Roberto Martinez has warned his side that this is the worst time to be facing Liverpool as Roy Hodgson's men are showing a fresh energy about their play. Speaking to the Wigan Evening Post, Martinez said: “It is probably the worst time to be playing Liverpool. Four weeks ago their situation was completely different, but now you’re starting to see the stamp of Roy Hodgson. “You can see that the players are enjoying themselves again, they’re full of energy. Their performance on Sunday against Chelsea was probably their best of the season, and after four wins on the trot you can see a lot of their players are starting to peak. “They were in a false position really, and now after a couple of wins they’re in the top half again. But Roy is one of the most experienced British managers, and you can see that is having a big effect.” CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
