16 January 2010 11:02

Mick McCarthy cut a dejected figure as his impotent side suffered another survival setback.

The Wolves manager, criticised by his chairman for playing reserves against Manchester United, watched in horror as Richard Stearman was sent off for a moment of madness in Wolves' third successive league defeat.

They were outclassed after the defender was sent off for pulling back James McCarthy with the ball running out of play in the first half.
