Wigan v Shrewsbury

Wigan hope Reece James will be fit enough to face Shrewsbury.

The full-back came off in the first half of the 2-0 win over Rochdale following a robust challenge, but is winning his race against time to be fit for the game at the DW Stadium.

Latics extended their unbeaten run in Sky Bet League One to 10 games, so Will Grigg, who was back on the bench at Spotland after international duty with Northern Ireland, may have to make do with a place on the bench as loanee Alex Revell eyes a home debut.

Kevin McNaughton (knee) is the only long-term absentee for Gary Caldwell's side.

Shrewsbury could have Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro and Jermaine Grandison available.

Striker Akpa Akpro had been given leave to sort out personal issues which saw him miss the FA Cup win at Gainsborough but has trained during the international break.

Defender Grandison has returning to training after recovering from a back injury which has sidelined him for the last six games.

On-loan Crystal Palace winger Sullay Kaikai may make a comeback but has been battling a knee injury.
