McManaman in Latics squad

Callum McManaman is expected to feature for Wigan against Huddersfield despite interest from four Barclays Premier League clubs.

The winger is wanted by both West Brom, who had a second bid for the player knocked back this week, and Hull but boss Malky Mackay confirmed he will be in the squad on Saturday after serving a three-game suspension.

Ben Watson joined Watford on a permanent deal on Friday while Shaun Maloney is unlikely to play after Wigan agreed terms with Chicago Fire over his sale.

Don Cowie (calf) is back in the Latics' squad but central defender Ivan Ramis (ankle) remains absent.

Huddersfield's new signing David Edgar is hoping to make his debut for the club but James Vaughan is out after fracturing his cheekbone and eye socket last week.

Versatile defender Edgar joined on loan from Birmingham until the end of the season this week and could go straight into the starting line-up.

But striker Vaughan, recently back in action following a troublesome calf injury, will be sidelined long-term after being accidentally kicked in the face during last week's defeat at Middlesbrough.

Forward Harry Bunn and defender Murray Wallace have both missed the last two games with respective hamstring injuries and will be monitored as Huddersfield chase their first league win on the road in nine matches.
