Keane brothers in head-to-head

Wigan manager Owen Coyle could hand a debut to new signing Will Keane as they welcome Derby to the DW Stadium.

The 20-year-old forward arrived on loan from Manchester United on Thursday, teaming up with fellow Red Devil Nick Powell, and could face twin brother Michael, who joined up with the Rams in midweek.

Aston Villa midfielder Marc Albrighton has been recalled by his parent club, while Lee Nicholls, a deputy for injured keeper Scott Carson (ankle), should continue.

Coyle could choose to freshen up his side following Thursday's Europa League defeat to Zulte Waregem and there could be recalls for the likes of Grant Holt and James McArthur, while Ryan Shotton is expected to return to the starting XI.

Derby have spent the week checking on the fitness of Jamie Ward.

Ward scored in the Rams' 1-0 win at Bournemouth, but later came off after complaining of a pain in his knee and has undergone a scan, but Derby are hopeful he will feature on Sunday.

On-loan Manchester United defender Michael Keane could make his debut and face twin brother Will - a striker - who recently joined the Latics.

Jeff Hendrick (ankle) is fit again after a lengthy absence and could be on the bench while fellow midfielder James Bailey (knee), defender Mark O'Brien (knee) and goalkeeper Adam Legzdins (ankle) all made returns from injury in the Under-21s this week.
