Wigan welcome back loan duo for Brighton test

Wigan will have on-loan pair Kyle Knoyle and Reece Burke available against Brighton at the DW Stadium.

The defensive duo played for their parent club West Ham's Under-23s team on Monday and are ready to feature for Latics again, with Knoyle (elbow) sidelined since pre-season and Burke (hernia) out since September.

No new injuries were picked up against Leeds on Tuesday as a 1-1 draw saw Wigan remain in the Sky Bet Championship's relegation zone.

Donervon Daniels (knee), Reece James (foot), Andy Kellett (knee) and Alex Gilbey (ankle) are still injured.

Brighton will be without defender Lewis Dunk through suspension after he was booked for the fifth time this season during the 1-0 win over Wolves in midweek.

Connor Goldson, who recently returned to fitness following a knee injury, is likely to step into central defence for his first league start of the season.

Skipper Bruno is expected to be fit despite the Spanish right-back going off as a precaution 10 minutes from the end on Tuesday.

Striker Tomer Hemed (thigh) will be assessed but midfielder Beram Kayal (ankle) is still missing.
