Wigan to unveil Martinez as Spaniard seals three-year deal to replace Bruce

Roberto Martinez will be unveiled as Wigan's manager today after owner Dave Whelan agreed to pay Championship club Swansea around £1.75million in compensation. The Latics have moved quickly to replace Steve Bruce, who was unveiled as the new Sunderland boss on Wednesday. The Spaniard, 35, held talks last night and is expected to agree a athree-year contract worth around £1.5m a year.
