Wigan have again been checking on highly-rated Portuguese winger Eliseu.[LNB] The 25-year-old left-sider is currently with Malaga and has been earning rave reviews for the Primera Liga outfit.[LNB]The Latics were strongly linked with a move for Eliseu before the transfer window closed, but no deal materialised.[LNB]However, they remain interested and are believed to have had scouts posted at Malaga's clash with Valencia at the weekend.[LNB]Eliseu joined Malaga in 2007 from Belenenses and has become well known for his lightning pace.[LNB]His form has also caught the eye of Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, who called him into the senior squad for the first time earlier this month.[LNB]Now a number of clubs are taking notice of Eliseu, whose current deal has just over 12-months remaining.[LNB]Malaga are trying to tie him down to a new four-year deal but as yet nothing has been signed.[LNB]CalmThe player himself is remaining calm about his future.[LNB]"I am living a dream at the moment and now I am only thinking about Malaga," he said.[LNB]"At the end of the season I will talk with the club, but I am calm."[LNB]The player's agent Carlos Gonclaves admitted a number of clubs have enquired about Eliseu.[LNB]"During the last few months, some clubs have asked me about Eli, but we have no formal offers," he confirmed.[LNB]
