Wigan Athletic have made an approach for Crystal Palace starlet Victor Moses, skysports.com understands. The 18-year-old forward - who can play as a striker or on the wing - is very highly rated, having made 40 appearances already for the Eagles. Moses, an England youth international, has previously been tracked by a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea. But now Wigan have emerged as potential bidders for the Nigerian-born youngster. The Latics are understood to have made contact with Palace about Moses, who came through the youth system. While Wigan have not yet made an offer, it is believed they are now weighing up a bid after being told by Palace of their valuation, which is understood to be around £5million.
