Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is considering a late August move for Manchester City wingers Shaun Wright-Phillips and Vladimir Weiss. The Spaniard has identified the two City players as key transfer targets as he looks to bolster his squad before the close of the window at the end of this month. Both are set to leave City in the coming days after being told they had no future in Roberto Mancini's plans but competition for their signatures is fierce.Weiss, who in the last two seasons has spent loan spells with Bolton and Rangers, had been tipped to join Dynamo Kiev earlier this week before a late change of heart.Wigan are one of a number of clubs in the running for the Slovakian international and competition is just as stiff for Wright-Phillips with the likes of Queens Park Rangers, Stoke and Bolton all queuing for the former Chelsea man.Martinez said: "I followed Vladimir at the World Cup and many teams would love to have Shaun."The Latics boss has also reassured supporters that he has no intention of cashing in on striker Hugo Rodallega before transfer deadline day.He added: "We wouldn't consider any late offers for Hugo."You can't replace players at this stage of the season."If a player is moving for big money they have to go earlier in the summer."We would not be in a position to replace him now. It is not possible."
