Wigan boss Martinez insists Bramble deserves an England call up

If Wigan Athletic's 4-1 defeat at Blackpool in the Carling Cup on Wednesday raised a few eyebrows, that is nothing compared to manager Roberto Martinez's claim Titus Bramble is due an England call-up.

'My impression of Titus is that he is in the perfect moment of his career,' Martinez said of his 28-year-old defender. 'He has an international future without a doubt. He takes pride in keeping clean sheets.'
