Whelan won't sell Cattermole

Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has slapped a 'not-for-sale' tag on Lee Cattermole. The Latics chief has already stated that Antonio Valencia and Paul Scharner will be allowed to leave the club this summer. And Catternole is another player strongly linked with a move away from the club, with former boss Steve Bruce seemingly keen to take the England Under-21 international with him to Sunderland. But Whelan insists he has no intentions of the letting the former Middlesbrough man leave the club. "Lee is not going anywhere," he said of the combative midfielder. "You just cannot replace these kind of players."
