We must take our chances - Bruce

10 May 2009 13:57
Wigan boss Steve Bruce was once again unhappy with his side's inability to take their chances as they lost 3-1 at West Brom. Marc-Antoine Fortune`s eighth-minute header was cancelled out by Hugo Rodallega's deflected free-kick but after the break Chris Brunt converted his own penalty rebound and Fortune made the points safe for the Baggies. "I think that is the third time in a row now their goalkeeper was man of the match. Is it bad attacking or sloppiness in front of goal?" Bruce said. "We've played the last three games like that, although not so much in the first half when we played some excellent stuff and should have been out of sight. "But if you don't take the chances at this level then ultimately you get punished."
