// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Ben Watson is determined to make the most of his loan spell with Queens Park Rangers and return to Wigan stronger than ever.[LNB] The midfielder only joined the Latics from Crystal Palace in January but he found himself down the pecking order following the change of manager over the summer.[LNB]New boss Roberto Martinez decided it would be a good idea for Watson to link with QPR on a four-month loan deal.[LNB]The 24-year-old is now aiming to find his best form so that when he goes back to the DW Stadium in January he can compete for a place in the Wigan side.[LNB]When asked if he still saw his long-term future at Wigan, Watson told the Evening Post: "Without a doubt. [LNB]No surprise"I would imagine that there'll be people from Wigan coming down to watch me probably every week to see how I'm doing, so it's down to me to put in some good performances. [LNB]"The move wasn't really a surprise to me. It wasn't that I wasn't in the gaffer's plans, but I knew he wanted me to go out on loan. [LNB]"He couldn't guarantee me games at the moment, which is fair enough.[LNB]"So instead of me sitting in the stands or sitting on the bench and playing 10 minutes here and there, it was best for me to get out and play in week in, week out."[LNB]
