Dreamer: Serbian Vladimir Stojkovic

Serbia World Cup keeper Vladimir Stojkovic fears he could be axed by Wigan after failing to win a game for them.

Stojkovic has not dislodged Chris Kirkland as Wigan's regular No 1 since his January move from Sporting Lisbon and his five games so far have ended in an FA Cup draw against League Two Notts County and four defeats.

The 6ft 5in Serb is hoping to get another chance against Arsenal on Sunday as he tries to persuade Wigan manager Roberto Martinez to extend his contract beyond the summer.

'I always dreamed of playing in England and I like it here. But I don't feel I have shown my best form so far so I don't know what the club will do.'
