Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa are also keeping tabs on the 23-year-old.[LNB]Wigan manager Steve Bruce is determined to hold on to the Ecuador international.[LNB]However, a £7m offer could be enough to tempt Wigan, with Bruce having been told he must sell, to free up funds, before he can strengthen his squad.[LNB]Redknapp has handed Spurs chairman Daniel Levy a list of players he would like to sign in the January transfer window, and has stressed that he will only attempt to buy players on that list.[LNB]Redknapp said: "Without a doubt the squad needs strengthening if we're going to be were people expect us to be.[LNB]"I've spoken to the chairman and he accepts that. He has to, that's why he brought me in.[LNB]"Hopefully he thinks I know what I'm talking about and I wouldn't just spend his money for the sake of it.[LNB]"I know the players I want. I've got a lot of players and it's not like four for one position.[LNB]"So, if we can't get exactly those players, then we might get some loans in to make sure we can get through the season then we'll look again in the summer."[LNB]
