TalkSPORT in another mess
Hot on the heels of appointing sexist duo of Richard Keys and Andy Grey, TalkSPORT have apologised to the Latics for derogatory comments made by presenter Ian Abrahams. TalkSPORT has never taken a favourable view of the Latics and is most certainly centered around the capital. Alongside appointing Keys and Grey, the station also employs dogging superstar Stan Collymore. The latest comments from Ian Abrahams, who also goes by the name of Moose, come as little surprise to any listeners from the North of Watford Gap services. TalkSPORT seems intent on a South bias that revolves around the big London clubs. This apology from Ian Abrahams comes as a boost for the Latics, but the moral victory is unlikely to change a station that is firmly stuck in the past. Wigan Athletic Head of Media Ed Jones, said: "The matter has now been resolved satisfactorily, and as a club we wish to confirm that we will continue to enjoy a verypositive relationship with TalkSport, who have clearly taken this issue seriously."
