Squad number reveal potential additions
On the eve of the big kick off the Latics have released the squad numbers and the absence of a number 10 suggests N'Zogbia's replacement has yet to join the club. Roberto Martinez confirmed as much suggesting that he is looking to bring in at least two players before the end of August. He said: "We cannot forget that we need to get another two players in that are ready to compete for places in the first team straight away and help us win games now."
