Spireites reveal Montrose deal

Chesterfield have agreed a deal in principle with Wigan to turn Lewis Montrose's loan deal into a permanent move this summer.[LNB] The 20-year-old, who also had a spell on loan at Cheltenham this season, is due to return to Saltergate next week after receiving treatment with the Latics on his knee ligament injury.[LNB]Manager Lee Richardson said: "We've got an agreement in principle to sign him [Montrose] so we are hopeful of finalising a deal.[LNB]"We are hopeful Lewis will be training with us next week so he should be available for the final match of the season against Bradford City.[LNB]"He has done well. We think he's a player with good potential."[LNB]
