Spireites move for Montrose

Chesterfield have taken Wigan midfielder Lewis Montrose on loan until the end of the season.[LNB] The 20-year-old has made two appearances for the Latics in his short career but is yet to feature for Steve Bruce's side this term.[LNB]He has enjoyed two separate spells at Cheltenham this season, though, with valuable first-team experience picked up during his time with the Robins.[LNB]He is now set to try his luck in League Two and is expected to go straight into the Spireites' squad for their weekend clash with Barnet.[LNB]"I am pleased to be joining Chesterfield and am looking forward to playing my part in getting the side into the play-offs by the end of the season," Montrose told the club's official website.[LNB]
