Sibierski seeks opportunities

Wigan striker Antoine Sibierski believes he has proved that he still has what it takes to play in the Premier League.[LNB] The Frenchman is out of contract at the end of the season and is not expected to be offered a new deal at the JJB Stadium.[LNB]But Sibierski - who spent part of the current campaign on loan at Championship strugglers Norwich - believes he still has something to offer in the top flight.[LNB]The former Manchester City player made a 15-minute substitute appearance in last Saturday's goalless draw with Middlesbrough at The Riverside and is keen for more of the same.[LNB]Injury problemsSibierski, who could play a part at Chelsea this weekend in view of Wigan's mounting injury problems, told the Manchester Evening News: "From a personal point of view, I thought I did well against Boro.[LNB]"I got about 20 minutes, I didn't give the ball away and being out there again in the Premier League gave me confidence.[LNB]"We have a few injuries at the moment and it was because of them I probably got back into the squad for the Boro game.[LNB]"I always believe, if I got given a chance again, I could play a part.[LNB]"I enjoy being back. I got the ball at my feet and tried to play some good football."[LNB]
