Former Newcastle and Manchester City star Antoine Sibierski has decided to hang up his boots. Frenchman Sibierski has decided to retire after 17 years in the game. The 35-year-old was released by Wigan at the end of last season and despite receiving offers from a number of other clubs worldwide he has decided to quit playing. "It is the end for me," Sibierski told skysports.com. "I have chosen to stop, but I was prepared to do that. "I had offers from France, Belgium, Australia even in England but I decided to listen to my family. "I thought about moving to France seriously, but my wife and my kids have said no way back so I have listened to them. "I am physically ready to have at least two more seasons, but since last year in my head it was over for me. "I am looking forward to other things now, but I will still be in football."
