Scotland set for Ipswich

Rumours are circulating that Jason Scotland is set to complete a £1 million move to Ipswich Town within the next 48 hours. Scotland had a difficult time during his first season in the top flight with the Latics and the arrival of Mauro Boselli seems to represent a clear signal to the 32 year old forward. Trinidadian international, Scotland, is now set for talks with Roy Keane at Ipswich Town, and the move is expected to be completed within the next 48 hours. Scotland managed just two goals in 36 appearances. Despite this he became somewhat of a fans favourite and Latics fans will certainly wish him well for the future. Roy Keane will be hoping that Scotland can regain his scoring form that he displayed during his time with Swansea as Ipswich aim for promotion to the top flight. It is unclear at present whether Martinez wants further attacking options at the DW Stadium with Leicester's Matty Fryatt being linked. Martinez may be happy with his current crop of forward players that include Hugo Rodallega, Charles N'Zogbia, Mauro Boselli and Victor Moses. Meanwhile, Wales manager John Toshack has described Jason Koumas' move to Cardiff as "risky" for the Welsh club. For the full interview please click here. CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
