Rodallega eyes Blues shock

Wigan star Hugo Rodallega is hoping to upset league leaders Chelsea this weekend and in the process end his side's awful record against the big four. The Latics stretched their winless run against the big four of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal to 34 games last weekend following their 4-0 hammering by the Gunners. Chelsea visit the DW Stadium this weekend and Colombian ace Rodallega is keen to end the club's dismal record against the Premier League's top sides. "We have to start picking up in games like this and looking at winning every game, not relying on what might happen after that in games against other teams," said Rodallega. "Chelsea is an important game for us, and we'll be going all-out to win that one. "There is a run of games coming up after when maybe we could be looking to pick up more points. But let's start with Saturday first, and hopefully get three points against Chelsea." Rodallega concedes Wigan have failed to build on their encouraging start to the season, when winning at Aston Villa, by losing four of their last five games. "I don't think that things have gone as well as they could have done considering the great start we made," added Rodallega. "We went away to Aston Villa, put in a great performance to win there, and that was a really promising start. "Then things didn't go so well, and it's been difficult for us, and it's hard to know why things haven't gone so well since. "We are in a position now where we feel we should be a lot higher up, because we have got a great group of players."
