In a move to commemorate the Wembley season the Latics have announced a red and blue home kit for the 2013/14 season, a decision that was made after the successful sales of the red Wembley kit.
The red Wembley kit is available for just £29.99 with official FA Cup badges thrown in on the price. The move has been so successful that a decision to introduce red and blue stripes has been made for next season.
An official club statement released to the fans' websites reads: "Wigan Athletic have decided to commemorate the 2013 Wembley season with the release of a brand new blue and red striped home kit for the 2013/14 season.
"The kit will be released by the end of April for general sale priced at £29.99 for adults and £14.99 for children."
The kit is expected to be reminiscent of the Bayern Munich strip of the Klinsmann era as illustrated below.
