Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov says his team are itching to return to action in Vienna on Thursday to atone for their shock home defeat by Wigan. Martin O'Neill's men are still smarting over their 2-0 opening Premier League defeat as they prepare to fly out to Austria for their Europa League play-off first-leg clash against Rapid Vienna. "We want it to come very quick so that we can show everybody it was a one-off," Petrov told Aston Villa TV. "I know they have a young team and they will be tough opposition but it is about how we are going to play. We hope we can put in a much better performance. "Everybody wants to be in Europe and we hope after these next few games we will be in the group stages."
