Charles N'Zogbia is facing a race to be fit for the visit of Burnley to the DW Stadium on Saturday. The flying winger injured his back in the game with Aston Villa. N'Zogbia was forced to leave the field early in the second half after injuring his back in the 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa. Now the former Newcastle player is a doubt for the game with Burnley on Saturday. Speaking to the Wigan Evening Post, Latics boss Roberto Martinez said: "The injury to Charles was a big negative for us, and we will assess him in the next 24 hours to see if he is okay for Saturday. "Charles very rarely has to come off in a game and, as a result, it is a very big concern for us. The players showed the right reaction to the Bolton game, and we didn't deserve to finish with nothing." It is widely believed that N'Zogbia was withdrawn on Tuesday as a precaution for Saturday's key game with Burnley. Fingers crossed he will be fine. CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
