Triumphing in the face of adversity has become something of an occupational hazard for Notts County and the oldest football league club in the world almost managed to demonstrate that uncanny knack of defying the natural order of things in this enthralling FA Cup fourth round tie. [LNB]Amaya's failure to re-appear after the interval could be seen as a mercy substitution and Wigan at last began to pass the ball with some conviction. A slick 1-2 between Hugo Rodallega and Jason Scotland released the latter whose left foot finish accounted for his first goal for the club since his move from Swansea City in the summer. [LNB]Suitably invigorated, Wigan searched for an equaliser and were rewarded when substitute Charles N'Zogbia's corner was headed by Titus Bramble back across the six yard area where another substitute, Ben Watson, nudged the ball over the line.[LNB]
