Whatever the outcome of the next fortnight for Notts County, Sven Goran Eriksson should emerge with his reputation, if not his bank balance, massively enhanced.[LNB]Chairman Peter Trembling will answer a second winding-up petition from HM Revenue and Customs on Wednesday, not wholly sure that the money to pay the outstanding debt is in place. [LNB]But the football world recognises it is easier to attract investment with the Swede's help, rather than without it. Striker Lee Hughes said: 'It would be a massive loss if Sven left. I don't know what would happen to the club.[LNB] Waiting game: Sven must wait to see if the money is in place to pay off the debts[LNB] 'Every day, he comes in and watches training. He stayed in the rain yesterday for 90 minutes. It was freezing cold. Every single day he's been there. Snow, rain, you name it.[LNB]'Sven is the main guy. Everyone looks up to him. We are still looking at him like he's the England manager. If anyone can sort it, it's Sven.'[LNB]County were in charge at half-time as Hughes rolled back the years with a trademark strike and Ben Davies struck an exquisite free-kick.[LNB]It was a different story after the interval. Jason Scotland scored his first goal in 21 appearances and Wigan levelled with Ben Watson's late header.[LNB]Scotland said: 'The gaffer (Roberto Martinez) gave me confidence by telling me not to worry about scoring and to just play my natural game. He told me the goals would come.'[LNB] WIGAN
