Moses hoping for Old Trafford start

Following on from his goal against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, Victor Moses is hoping for a starting position at Old Trafford on Saturday. The nineteen year old winger came on as a half time subsitute for Jordi Gomez and instantly injected much needed pace and aggression to the right flank. The change from Roberto Martinez paid off as Moses scored what proved to be the decisive goal as he slotted past Scott Carson. Now, the former Crystal Palace player is hoping for a position in the starting eleven for the visit to Old Trafford this coming weekend. Moses told the Wigan Evening Post: “It’s up to the gaffer but, as I’ve always said, I just want to get out there on the pitch and play my football. “There are a lot of games to come and I am just keen to keep learning and improving. I was just happy to be able to come on and score a goal, and hopefully it’ll be hard for him to leave me out. “I just want to get at the full-back as soon as I get the ball, threaten him and make him nervous. Like I said, it’s his call, it’s not up to me to be saying this and that. I’ll leave it to him to make the right decision.” With United loanee, Tom Cleverley ineligible for the game, a start for Moses is very much on the cards. CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
