Martinez set to ring the changes

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez is likely to take the opportunity to field a number of fringe players in the FA Cup third-round tie at Hull. Tom Cleverley has been ruled out for up to four weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury against Bolton in midweek. Goalkeeper Chris Kirkland, who suffered a bang to the head in the same game, is not seriously injured but will not feature while Mauro Boselli (hamstring) will be out for seven days. Emmerson Boyce (hamstring) is close to fitness but may not be risked while Charles N'Zogbia is suspended and James McCarthy, Victor Moses and Franco di Santo remain long-term absentees.
