Latics boss Roberto Martinez is full of praise for young winger Victor Moses who has hit five goals so far this pre season. The Latics boss was speaking after Moses grabbed the winner against Spanosh side Villarreal at the DW Stadium this weekend. He told the Wigan Evening Post: “Victor was lively throughout the game, and he was a real threat." Martinez was also pleased with the play of striker Franco Di Santo who deputised for Hugo Rodallega who has only recently returned from the Copa America. Martinez added: “His link-up play with Franco was pretty good in the first half, and Franco showed great generosity in playing him in for the goal. “But I felt the clean sheet was probably an even bigger achievement than the goal, because Villarreal know how to hurt a team and they were dangerous for the full 90 minutes." Norwich City are the opponents for the Latics this weekend as the Premier League season reaches the big kick off.
