Martinez praise for consistent Thomas
Roberto Martinez has taken the time to praise the consistency of Hendry Thomas so far this season as the Honduran international has settled into life in the Premier League. Thomas endured a difficult first season that saw his form tail off after a superb start to the season. The Honduran however has been right on top of his game so far this season, a fact that has not gone unrecognised by the Latics boss. Speaking to the Wigan Evening Post, Martinez said: “I haven’t been surprised at all by Hendry’s form this year, because I know exactly what he is capable of. “But it’s been so good to see him enjoying his football and showing such a high level of consistency. The way he has adapted to the Premier League this season has been quite remarkable. “Last season he started off very well, but the demands of the English game can be tough on midfielders and he had a bit of a time-out before coming back strong.
