Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has confirmed Michael Brown is in talks with Portsmouth about a possible move. As revealed by skysports.com on Thursday, Portsmouth have lined up a deal for Brown to bolster their midfield. Portsmouth have agreed an undisclosed fee for Brown and Martinez is willing to let the experienced campaigner move on. Brown will help fill the void left by Sean Davis' departure to Bolton and the midfielder's arrival will provide a welcome boost for Paul Hart's men. Skysports.com understands Portsmouth have offered Brown a three-year deal at Fratton Park and are hoping to tie up a deal for him so that he can face former club Manchester City on Sunday.
