Martinez builds up to Birmingham game
Roberto Martinez has labelled this weekend's game with Birmingham City as 'massive' in the race to avoid relegation. With the Latics stuck at the bottom of the table after a difficult period of games Martinez is looking for maximum points on Saturday. Speaking to the club's official website the Latics boss said: "The weekend's game is massive but an exciting challenge for the whole club. We need our supporters to play a big role as usual - we need to create an intimidating atmosphere in the DW Stadium. "We need our fantastic supporters to play a big role as usual. They have been magnificent all season and the atmosphere in the DW for the last few games has been excellent.
