Martinez annoyed with N'Zogbia

This one seems set to rattle on and on, but Charles N'Zogbia remains a Wigan Athletic player after failing to agree terms with Birmingham City. The question is, will Martinez play him. Following the aforementioned collapse of his move to Birmingham City, N'Zogbia is going to find it difficult to earn respect and loyalty from his fellow team mates back at Christopher Park. Roberto Martinez will not hesitate to leave the French international out of the match day squad, as he proved against Blackpool on the opening day of the season. The Latics boss has been left frustrated by a player who has sourced moves away from the DW Stadium, only to argue over personal terms. Clearly motivated by the green notes being waved in his direction, N'Zogbia has a lot of work to do to win his place back. "Obviously, we agreed a fee with another Premier League club and it seemed that transfer was going to go ahead. Now, the situation is up in the air," said Martinez. "Charles is a Wigan Athletic player and he needs to do a lot on the training ground to persuade this group of players to open up and allow him to come in and fight for a place. "It's difficult to accept that certain players don't want to be committed and don't want to be at the football club. It's very, very difficult to see a way back for Charles." Victor Moses has been in good form for the club and will more than likely be first choice in the mind of Martinez, should he overcome his ankle injury in time for the Sunderland game. The best piece of advice that could be given to Charles N'Zogbia would be from Luis Antonio Valencia who spent three years impressing at the DW Stadium before earning a move to Old Trafford. With the greatest of respect, playing at the Theatre of Dreams is a different world to that of Birmingham City, even with Carson Young's money. CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
