Mancini considers SWP switch

Roberto Mancini admits he could let Shaun Wright-Phillips - a target for Wigan and Bolton - move on from Manchester City this summer.[LNB] The England wide-man started just two games for City in the Premier League last season.[LNB]Mancini appeared to open the door to Wright-Phillips' Eastlands exit after admitting the 29-year-old deserves to play on a regular basis.[LNB]Wright-Phillips has enjoyed an excellent pre-season with City and scored again in Saturday's 3-0 Dublin Super Cup win over an Airtricity Irish XI.[LNB]"Shaun was born in Man City, he is an important player for Man City," said Mancini after the game. "For me, it's difficult to put him on the bench.[LNB]"A player like Shaun deserves to play every game because he's a strong player. But now, we have so many players it's not easy for him.[LNB]"I need to speak with him in the next days. It's difficult because Shaun is a good guy."
