Latics to land Korean

Wigan Athletic are set to capture South Korean international Cho Won-hee subject to the player obtaining a work permit.[LNB] According to reports in the Far East, the 25-year-old has agreed terms with the Premier League side and will put pen-to-paper on a one-and-a-half year deal in the coming days.[LNB]Wigan manager Steve Bruce had taken Cho on trial at the end of last week and was impressed by the player's versatility and work-rate.[LNB]The midfielder, who came close to signing for Monaco last month, is available on a free transfer after his contract with K-League outfit Suwon Bluewings expired at the end of December.[LNB]Should the deal go through early next week, Cho could be in line to make his debut against Chelsea on 28th February.[LNB]
