Wigan have turned down a bid of £8million from Birmingham for winger Charles N'Zogbia - but his agent still believes a move could materialise.[LNB] News broke earlier on Monday that the Blues tabled an £8million bid for the French winger after Alex McLeish identified the 23-year-old as his prime summer target.[LNB]N'Zogbia's agent Franck Peslerbe has hinted his client would consider a move to St Andrew's but revealed the Latics have rebuffed the bid from their Premier League rivals.[LNB]"Birmingham have made a bid for Charles and Wigan have turned it down," Peslerbe told skysports.com.[LNB]"There are also some other English sides apart from Birmingham interested in Charles.[LNB]"Charles is currently away on holidays but I am in discussions with Wigan.[LNB]"Everything depends on Wigan and if they accept a bid then things can go forward.[LNB]"If it was a good solution for Wigan and a good project for Charles then something might happen[LNB]"Wigan have a figure they expect for Charles and we will see if anyone meets that."[LNB]N'Zogbia has enjoyed a fine first full season in Wigan colours in the 2009/10 campaign, scoring seven goals including the winner against Arsenal to effectively end the Gunners' title hopes.[LNB]The pacy midfielder, who has previously been linked with the likes of Arsene Wenger's side, as well as Aston Villa and Tottenham, moved to the DW Stadium in January 2009 from Newcastle for £6million.[LNB]It is believed Latics are only willing to sell one of their prized assets for a fee in excess of £15million, which Birmingham are not keen to pay with Kris Boyd, Carlton Cole and Bobby Zamora also on McLeish's radar.
