Latics in talks for Moses

Wigan are in talks with Crystal Palace over the possible signing of Victor Moses, skysports.com understands. The Latics have held a long-term interest in the skilful wide-man and are aiming to thrash out a deal with Palace to bring Moses to the DW Stadium. A number of other Premier League clubs are believed to be keeping tabs on Moses, but Wigan are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by luring him to the North West. Moses, who has come through the youth ranks at Palace, is highly regarded and is tipped for a big future in the game. The 18-year-old was left out of Palace's squad for Tuesday's win at Ipswich, fuelling speculation of a possible departure and the Championship club are believed to be willing to sell for the right price. Latics boss Roberto Martinez has admitted he is keen to bring in a couple of new faces before the close of the transfer window and it appears Moses could be one of his top targets.
